HTM Signs MoU with Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel, Connecting Learning to the World of Ultra Luxury Hospitality
School of Humanities and Tourism Management (HTM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on academic and professional cooperation with Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel. The agreement builds on educational collaboration and student development in line with Bangkok University's Practical University approach, which connects classroom knowledge with real-world experience from the international hotel and hospitality industry.
A.Sitthipong Kimsawat, Act for Dean, School of Humanities and Tourism Management, and K.Kingkarn Siriwat, Learning Manager of Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel, signed the MoU together. The agreement builds on the ongoing relationship between the two organizations, particularly through the Department of English, covering teaching and learning, professional skills development, student competency assessment, and opportunities for students to learn from real work in the industry.
Under this collaboration, both parties will jointly develop opportunities for internships, employment, and study visits, as well as Project-Based Learning using industry challenges and case studies. They will also collaborate on curriculum development, teaching and learning, and academic activities, and will strengthen students' English skills for the workplace and their professional experience, preparing them to meet the needs of the hotel and hospitality business.
In addition, the collaboration gives students the opportunity to learn about new directions in the hospitality industry through Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel, which is elevating its service to the Ultra Luxury level. This places importance on service standards, guest experience, and personnel with international-level skills, preparing students to enter the hotel and hospitality industry, where demand for high-quality professionals is strong.
