School of Fine and Applied Arts Partners with Workprint to Elevate Uthai Thani's Agricultural Products for the Modern Market
School of Fine and Applied Arts, in collaboration with Workprint Co., Ltd., has launched the project "Upgrading Agro-Industrial Products for the Modern Market (OPOAI–C Next Steps)" for fiscal year 2026, under the support of the Uthai Thani Provincial Industry Office. The project included an on-site activity at Papping Resort in Ban Rai District, aimed at developing the capacity of local community entrepreneurs so they can compete sustainably.
The project brought together design experts from the Visual Communication Design program at the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, including Ajarn Nalinee Thongtae, Assoc. Prof.Dr.Pannee Virunanont, Dr.Dhanyhaploy Nutkasem, and Ajarn Rungnapa Khan. These faculty members traveled to the site to directly share their design knowledge with local entrepreneurs, while also bringing students along to help design packaging labels for the community's hand cream products — elevating the products' image to be more modern, appealing, and commercially valuable.
A key highlight of this activity was the opportunity for students to apply classroom knowledge to real-world practice alongside the project team and local entrepreneurs. Ms. Thanyalak Nongkhai and Ms. Jutharat Nujit, third-year students in the Visual Communication Design program currently completing their professional internship at Workprint Co., Ltd., took part in the project — both brainstorming design concepts and traveling to the site to speak directly with the entrepreneurs.
This activity clearly reflects the concrete integration of academic teaching with real-world work in the industrial sector. It not only strengthens students' professional experience but also passes on design knowledge to the community, helping to drive local products from Uthai Thani Province toward the modern market with stability and long-term sustainability.
