Learning Startup Skills Through Play: Board Game Challenge Ignites Entrepreneurial Mindset
Library and Learning Space, in collaboration with Findice Education Company, organized the Board Game Challenge competition to encourage students to spend their free time creatively, develop systematic thinking processes, and build positive relationships among students across different faculties. The game "Basecamp: The Startup Journey" was selected as the competition game for this event.
Basecamp: The Startup Journey is a board game that promotes entrepreneurial skills, innovation development, cash flow management, and product development to deliver according to customer needs while building business value and growth.
Congratulations to the students who received awards in this program:
Ms. Matika Noinon,
a student from School of Information Technology and Innovation,
won 1st place and received a 2,000 baht scholarship.
Ms. Wilawan Jahmay,
a student from School of Accounting,
won 1st Runner-up and received a 1,500 baht scholarship.
Mr. Myat Min Paing,
a BU International student,
won 2nd Runner-up and received a 1,000 baht scholarship.
Mr. Methasit Kosolchotitham,
a student from School of Entrepreneurship and Management,
won 3rd Runner-up and received a 500 baht scholarship.
This program provided students with opportunities to learn through hands-on practice, training in planning, decision-making, and on-the-spot problem solving, while developing communication skills and teamwork in simulated business situations. It also helped strengthen entrepreneurial perspectives and business management understanding in a fun and accessible format, forming an important foundation for application in both academic studies and future careers.
