BU Students Achieve Excellence, Winning Outstanding Youth Awards for Bringing Honor to the Nation in 2026

Bangkok University students received awards and certificates for outstanding children and youth who brought honor to the nation, meeting the selection criteria for the year 2026. Mr. Suthep Kaengsanthia, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education, presided over the certificate presentation ceremony. Students received certificates for meeting the criteria: 4 awards in the team category, 1 award in the individual category, and 1 trophy in the team category.

Students from School of Digital Media and Cinematic Arts, under the team name Blueberri Production, received 2 certificates for meeting criteria in the team category:
- Met criteria for children and youth who brought honor to the nation in the academic field
- Met criteria for children and youth who brought honor to the nation in the professional skills field

Students from School of Humanities and Tourism Management received certificates for meeting the criteria for children and youth who brought honor to the nation in the professional skills field, team category, for awards at the Seoul Food & Hotel Culinary Challenge 2025 at Exhibition Hall (KINTEX 1), Seoul, South Korea, between June 7-15, 2025. Organized by: Korea Chefs Association, InformaMarkets, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency. Bangkok University students won a total of 26 awards

Students from the School of Entrepreneurship and Management received certificates for meeting the criteria for children and youth who brought honor to the nation in the academic field. Team Hush Husk's business idea features a natural air purifier made from rice husks or rice shells that can be recycled into air filter sheets to absorb unpleasant odors, reduce pollution, and be environmentally friendly. They competed in the global business plan competition "2025 The Babson Collaborative Global Student Challenge.

Ms. Onrumpa Sumetiwitaya, a student from School of Economics and Investment, received a certificate for meeting the criteria for children and youth who brought honor to the nation in the academic field, individual category, winning 3rd place in The International Economics Olympiad for University Students competition.
