Communication Arts Students Pass Announcer License Exam Before Graduation, Confirming Professional-Level Potential

Confidently Step into a Professional Media Career Path

Congratulations to Pasit  Jiratthitikarnkulvet, student in Broadcasting and Streaming Media Production Program, School of Communication Arts, for passing the examination and receiving the Thai Language (Central) Announcer License from the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC). This success reflects dedication, communication skills, and outstanding capability in applying knowledge. Moreover, as a student who obtained the announcer license before graduation, it demonstrates readiness to confidently step into a professional media career path.

The Beginning of Taking the Announcer License Exam

"My beginning that made me want to take the announcer license exam started from studying course BRS201 in class, which is a subject about announcer skills such as news reading, news storytelling, and reading advertising spots with Instructor Ut Kupongsak, faculty member of the Department of Broadcasting and Streaming Media Production, Faculty of Communication Arts, as the course instructor who recommended that I attend training and take the announcer license exam, while also providing guidance on various techniques as a coach."

Sharing (Not So) Secret Tips

"For people who want to take the announcer license exam, you must start by attending basic, intermediate, and advanced level training. During training, we must manage our time well - both class time and training time. After that, wait for the exam according to the announced schedule. During the exam, the main focus is on characters and then tone, delivery, and use of vocal registers. We should practice reading regularly, understand correct character pronunciation, spacing, and tone usage. But the most important key is discipline in practice."

Opportunities for Advancement

"From studying communication arts, I've used communication skills to draw out knowledge and abilities that I've accumulated from classes. Taking the exam was very challenging for myself, and succeeding in obtaining the announcer license is a standard that helps develop Thai language skills and provides opportunities to advance as an announcer in the future."

Additionally, I was awarded the UIS government scholarship, Cohort 16. The UIS scholarship is a government scholarship for young students who are interested in working to develop the country, with guaranteed government appointment and civil service employment upon graduation.
