Unveil the Future of Aviation:
"BU AIR Future Skies 2025"
Airbus collaborates to enhance knowledge in Sustainable Aviation and Sustainable Marketing through Problem-Based Learning (PBL) Workshop activities, developing students to become key forces in the aviation industry who understand sustainability in all dimensions.

Airline Business Management Program, School of Humanities and Tourism Management, organized the "BU AIR Future Skies 2025" event under the theme "Environmental Factors in Aviation and Sustainable Marketing," in collaboration with Airbus, a global leader in aviation innovation, to enhance knowledge and cultivate awareness of Sustainability & Innovation in Aviation among students.

During the opening ceremony, Ajarn. Purat Osathanugrah, President of Bangkok University, welcomed participants and shared the university's vision regarding its mission to develop quality graduates who meet industry demands, while promoting students' skills and readiness to face the challenges of the digital age and environmental changes.

The event was honored to have Mr. Bert Porteman, President of Airbus Thailand, Airbus Chief Representative to Thailand, and Managing Director of Airbus Flight Operations Services Ltd., as a guest speaker, sharing knowledge on environmentally friendly aviation technology.

In an era where the aviation industry faces challenges on all fronts—including competition, technology, marketing, and adaptation to sustainable practices—such as reducing carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions, developing Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), and implementing operations in accordance with the International Civil Aviation Organization's (ICAO) green aviation policies and the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

This seminar serves as an important platform to open new perspectives for students regarding the role of technology and innovation in driving the aviation industry sustainably at an international level.

Beyond lectures, students participated in hands-on activities through Problem-Based Learning (PBL), analyzing and solving problems related to the environment and sustainability in the aviation business. This reflects Bangkok University's Practical University concept, which emphasizes balanced learning in both theory and practice.

The BU AIR Future Skies 2025 seminar is not only a platform for in-depth knowledge exchange from world-class leaders, but also extends concepts into real hands-on learning to create quality graduates ready to drive the Thai and ASEAN aviation industry toward a truly sustainable future.
