One Month Complete: Art Beyond Canvas Creates New Generation of Arts Managers for the Global Stage
This training program has invited international gurus and domestic experts to serve as continuous weekly lecturers. We are honored to have K.David Teh, an exhibition specialist, writer, and scholar from Singapore, who shared knowledge in the morning session under the topics "Convergence and Crossover: Historicizing Video and Media Art in Thailand" . In the afternoon session, Vipash Purichanont,Ph.D, a lecturer from the Department of Art History, Faculty of Archaeology, Silpakorn University, presented content on " Worlding Southeast Asia Contemporary Art: Framework and Curation" Along with Asst. Prof.Dr.Natsupa Jaroenyingwattana, Dean, School of Fine and Applied Arts and Chayanoot Silpasart,Ph.D, Chairperson, Bangkok University Gallery, who delivered lectures to provide knowledge to the training participants.
And in the most recent week, we were honored to Prof. Dr. Apinan Poshyananda, Artistic Director & Chief Executive, Bangkok Art Biennale, deliver content on the topic “Thai Art Ecosystem: Sook Sook Dib Dib” and K.Chitti Kasemkitvatana, Bangkok-based artist and curator, share knowledge on the topic “Asamkhyeya (อสงไขย) is Just a Breath” as well.
The "Art Beyond Canvas: Management in Art Industry" program serves as a crucial tool for connecting those aspiring to build careers in the arts world to achieve professionalism through establishing solid knowledge foundations, developing specialized skills, and creating collaborative networks with international experts. This will be a significant force in elevating Thailand's arts industry to prominence on the international stage.
