Week 2 of Art Beyond Canvas Course Features Special International Guest Lecturers

School of Fine and Applied Arts in collaboration with Dib Bangkok (International Contemporary Art Museum) presents a special training course "Art Beyond Canvas: Management in Art Industry" to enhance participant's readiness to step into efficient art management through learning from real industry experts and internships with leading art organizations.


This training program invites distinguished faculty members and experts from both domestic and international backgrounds to share knowledge with participants every week. In Week 2, we are honored to have K. Robert Zhao Renhui, Singapore-based interdisciplanary artist, lecturing on "Technology and Ecology" alongside Dr. Gridthiya Gaweewong, Artistic Director of the Jim Thompson Art Center, presenting on "Curating Large-Scale International
Art Festivals: Site-Specificity and Community Engagement"


This training course has been comprehensively designed with 42 hours of learning content, divided into 3 main pillars: Contemporary Art & Visual Culture, Art Industry Foundation, and Management in Art Industry & Practice.


The "Art Beyond Canvas: Management in Art Industry" course will serve as an important bridge for those who want to step into professional careers in the art world, equipped with knowledge, skills, and strong networks from world-class experts that will form a crucial foundation for developing Thailand's art industry to advance onto the global stage.
