Tech-Savvy Youth Empowerment: IT & Innovation Students from Bangkok University Dive into Research in Japan

School of Information Technology and Innovation, Bangkok University, continues to support and empower its students by providing international learning opportunities through the KAIT Technical Internship Program 2025—a collaborative initiative between Bangkok University and Kanagawa Institute of Technology (KAIT), Japan.

Congratulations to the following students who have been selected to participate in this two-month research and internship program from June 3 to July 31, 2025:
- Mr. Tanayot Siratoranon, graduate student (Master’s level)
- Mr. Sahachok Kwanchit and Mr. Phurin Methnawin, 3rd-year students in Game and Interactive Media
- Mr. Chayut Walanchodome, 3rd-year student in Computer Science

Throughout the program, these students will gain hands-on experience working closely with expert faculty at KAIT in advanced laboratory settings. They will engage in cutting-edge research across dynamic topics such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Advanced 3D and Virtual Reality Gaming, and Data Science—all of which are at the forefront of global technological innovation.

Beyond technical skills, the program also emphasizes cultural exchange. Participants will take part in enriching activities such as wearing traditional yukata, Japanese tea ceremonies, and educational excursions, fostering deeper cross-cultural understanding and international friendship. Eligible participants are also supported by a partial scholarship from JASSO (Japan Student Services Organization), receiving 80,000 yen per month to assist with living expenses during the internship.

This international internship is not only a platform for academic and technical growth, but also a gateway to global research and innovation networks. The experience will help students broaden their perspectives, enhance communication and collaboration skills, and lay a strong foundation for future opportunities in international education, research, and careers.
