Business Innovation for Sustainable Tourism--Impromptu Speech Competition: Developing New Leaders for Sustainable Tourism

The International Tourism and Hospitality Management Program in collaboration with the Business English Program, is proud to celebrate the success of the Impromptu Speech Competition held under the inspiring theme: “Business Innovation for Sustainable Tourism.”






This event was made possible through the valued partnership with the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), the British Council, and King Power Corporation, who share our commitment to sustainable tourism and youth development.




Designed to empower international students in higher education, the competition offered a platform to showcase innovative thinking and public speaking skills—essential qualities in today’s globalized, sustainability-driven business environment. Participants explored creative solutions to real-world issues affecting the tourism industry, from eco-friendly business models to the role of AI in supporting responsible travel.
After a highly engaging and thought-provoking round of speeches, we are thrilled to congratulate our top three winners:

First Place: Mr.Jeffrey David Wright from Sustainable Hospitality and Tourism Management, International College for Sustainability Studies, Srinakharinwirot University

Second Place: Miss Khin Thu Rein from Business English Program, Bangkok University International

Third Place: Chongkolphan Paorel from Marketing Program, Bangkok University International




These winners not only impressed the panel of judges, including Ms. Titecha Promsu, Language Development Solutions Manager, King Power Corporation Co., Ltd., Mr. Lee Russell Wilkes, Professional Business Skill Trainer, Corporate English Solutions, British Council, and Mr. Nick Chun, Membership & Youth Programme Manager , Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) , but also inspired the audience with their passion and innovation.
This competition reflects the shared vision of our academic and industry partners: to equip the next generation with the skills, awareness, and confidence to lead in sustainable tourism. We extend our heartfelt thanks to PATA, the British Council, and King Power Corporation for their continued support in making this meaningful initiative a reality.
