BUI Students Create 5-Star Table Setting Masterpieces

Bangkok University International (BUI) collaborated with The Standard Hotel Bangkok to organize a skill development and creativity project for international program students in the Food and Beverage Operation course, Tourism and Hospitality Management major, aimed at enhancing their knowledge and hands-on experience in hotel food and beverage management.

The program kicked off with a special site visit to The Standard Hotel Bangkok, where students learned from hotel experts. K. Marc, Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, shared his expertise in cocktail and mocktail mixing, while K. Arth, Food and Beverage Manager, provided insights into proper table manners.

The project highlight was a creative table setting competition with a Festive theme, featuring 39 students divided into 6 teams. The competition was judged by K. Worrayupa, Assistant Training Manager, and K. Arth, who awarded prizes to three outstanding teams for their design and creativity. The event took place at The BU Café, Tourism Tower (A5), Bangkok University

This initiative not only provided learning experiences from hotel industry professionals but also offered students practical exposure, allowing them to develop essential skills and creativity that they can apply in their future careers.
