Bangkok University International College x Krungsri Collaborate to Develop Young Talent through Competition
Bangkok University has partnered with Krungsri Bank to enhance the capabilities of young professionals through a series of educational initiatives. This collaboration includes two insightful talk sessions and a comprehensive business case competition, all aimed at providing students with practical knowledge and experience in the financial industry.
The first event, titled "InsightConnect: Krungsri Talk," took place on October 8, 2024, at The Lobby, Tourism Tower 1. Esteemed speakers Khun Elizabeth Man, Vice President and Head of Digital & Social Media Marketing at Krungsri, and Khun Pakin Truengjitvilas, Digital Acquisition Specialist at Bank of Ayudhya (Krungsri) , led a workshop on "Harnessing the Power of Digital Channels for Effective Brand Communication." This session provided students with valuable insights into current digital marketing strategies employed in the financial sector.
The second talk session, held on October 28, 2024, at Pongthip 1 Meeting Room, C2, featured Mr. Takashi Wakushima, Executive Vice President, Head of Corporate Planning Division, and Deputy CFO at Bank of Ayudhya (Krungsri). He delivered an engaging presentation on "Globalization in Banking," offering students a global perspective on banking operations and strategies.
Culminating the collaboration, the Krungsri x Bangkok University Business Case Challenge 2024 was held on November 26, 2024, at Krungsri Rama 3. Students from the Marketing and Entrepreneurship Management programs at BUI participated, focusing on developing 360-degree Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) plans for insurance products. The competition, sponsored and supported by Bank of Ayudhya (Krungsri), Dhipaya Insurance Public Company Limited, Allianz Ayudhya Public Company Limited, and Thai Life Insurance Public Company Limited, showcased the innovative ideas and strategic thinking of the participants.
The finalists presented their projects to a panel of industry experts, with the following teams receiving top honors:
Winner: Team Mooncake (Entrepreneurship Management students)
First Runner-Up: Team Visionarie (Marketing students)
Second Runners-Up: Team Awesome Sauce (Marketing students) and Team Crews (Entrepreneurship Management students)
