BUDC children showcase their talents through creative films, producing outstanding works

Congratulations to Mr. Thanthup Dechkamhaeng, student of School of Digital Media and Cinematic Arts, representing the team "His Gone" for receiving an award from the Content Lab 2024 project

Congratulations to Mr. Thanthup Dechkamhaeng,  student of School of Digital Media and Cinematic Arts, representing the team "His Gone" along with team members Mr. Kontee Bureekhan from Piyamaharachalai School (Head Project), Mr. Khetsopon Chomchuen from Rattanaburi School, and Ms. Jutharat Akkhophan from Mahasarakham University. They are one of the five projects awarded a 20,000 Baht development grant from Content Lab 2024 project: Creating Thai Content, Pushing Towards International Recognition: Newcomers Northeastern Region.

8 Days of Intense Events

"This project was my first participation since entering university. It was a great experience because I entered the competition individually, and the project organizers grouped us during the camp based on our submitted short stories. These 8 days were more than just fun; it was like a proving ground that brought together talented and passionate people. We got to know friends and learn from seniors who provided comprehensive knowledge."

Different Backgrounds, One Heart

"On the first day of meeting the team, I could immediately feel that everyone had their own special qualities. When we became part of the 'Head Project' team to work together as one, all four of us were determined to make our work the best it could be by utilizing each person's strengths. I'm good at scriptwriting, Formost (male) is good at plot structuring, Formost (female) is skilled in writing novel-style scripts, and Oat, who has credentials as the president of the film club at his school, is good at scriptwriting and directing. When all four of us came together, it resulted in work that everyone is proud of. 'His Gone' is a sharing of everyone's experiences of heartbreak in the group, distilled into a story about a group of high school students in the audio-visual room making a documentary about a case of a student's disappearance within the school, and being hunted by higher powers. This is an example of a synopsis we collaboratively shared to find the right flavor for our story."

Invitation to Join and Create Experiences

"For anyone who is hesitant or has never participated in any project before, I invite everyone to join this project because it offers more than just knowledge. It provides friendship and a family of like-minded filmmakers. It's a space where we can express ourselves and try things out as if in a real-world scenario."

Showcase of (Not So) Hidden Talents

Awards guaranteeing the talent of BU students: Mr. Thantap Detkamhaeng, who has works from directing and writing scripts that tell stories through lines from text to film productions.
