Congratulations to Chanunya Sutti, known as " Gyoza" a 4th-year student in the School of Engineering, majoring in Artificial Intelligence Engineering and Data Science, and a 100% Petch Nai Chaiyapruek scholarship student— the sole Bangkok University representative selected to attend AI Live + Labs: Bangkok 2026, a major national AI event by Google Cloud.
Beginning as a Google Student Ambassador
Gyoza's journey began when she applied to join the Google Student Ambassador Thailand (GSA) program — a Google initiative that selects students from universities to act as representatives disseminating knowledge about Google's technology and products within their institutions.
Once selected, each GSA's primary duty is to receive "weekly missions" from Google and create content to share knowledge more broadly, with points accumulated from each week's output.
"Each week, Google gives us a mission — sharing knowledge about various Google products, sharing interesting new tricks — and we have the freedom to interpret the brief and create content in our own style. Points are accumulated continuously. For me, I focus on creating content about using Gemini tools and various Google products that are relevant to students and can be practically applied."
With a foundation in AI engineering and a longstanding interest in technology, Gyoza did not view these missions merely as tasks to complete, but as genuine opportunities to learn and experiment with new things.
Workshops Built from Real Knowledge, Not Just Following a Brief
One of the most challenging and important missions of being a GSA is organizing a knowledge-transfer workshop for fellow students. Gyoza chose to hold an activity titled "Unlock Your AI Power: Up Level with Gemini & NotebookLM — Upgrade Your University Life with Google Workspace," integrating it with a scholarship activity under the guidance of her scholarship advisor, A.Fah Naphat Nithichanakarn.
The activity was designed to be held in two sessions, emphasizing hands-on learning throughout, with the centerpiece being instruction in writing AI prompts using the PARTS Framework — a structure that helps learners communicate with AI precisely to get the results they need.
“In both sessions, we taught prompt writing and how to synthesize large amounts of information into presentations or infographics. The feedback after the training was very positive — participants not only fulfilled their activity requirements but also came away with new tricks they had never known before and could genuinely apply to their studies.”
All the knowledge presented in this session is based on Gyoza’s personal research and hands-on experience with various tools, which have been carefully organized into a simple, practical framework that students can easily understand and apply in their daily lives.
Participants were especially impressed by NotebookLM, Google's tool that can extract information, summarize content from videos or documents, and convert it into slides or mind maps — opening participants' eyes to how AI can genuinely reduce the burden of studying, whether for summarizing content for exams, writing reports, or even final projects. Participants also discovered several other new Google tools, including Nano Banana, Gemini Canvas, and Deep Research.
Gyoza also valued something equal to the knowledge itself — the way the activity built cross-faculty relationships, bringing students from diverse fields together to meet and exchange perspectives.
A Week of Pride, and the Step That Led to the National Stage
Throughout several weeks of completing missions, there was one moment Gyoza admits she felt most proud: the week she received a Creativity Award for creating content teaching how to write a resume using Gemini and Google Docs — her first award as a GSA after consistently creating content.
But the true turning point came at Week 11 — a special challenge where GSAs had the chance to earn the right to represent their university at a major national event. Gyoza passed this challenge and placed among the top 3 student representatives from across the country honored by Google to attend AI Live + Labs: Bangkok 2026.
During the event, Gyoza’s role extended beyond that of a participant. As a Google Partner, Kieowza helped support and facilitate the training experience for attendees while simultaneously exploring innovative technologies and learning practical applications directly from leading experts in the field.
"The most impressive thing was the unveiling of Google's new AI Agent — a personal assistant for project development — presented by a speaker from Google Cloud Thailand. This event wasn't just about the knowledge we received; it also helped upskill and share knowledge with others. It was the development of new skills that, had I not come to this event, I would not have known where else to learn them."
Four Years That Changed Everything
Gyoza reflects that before university, she had almost no opportunities to participate in activities outside the classroom. But when she stepped into Bangkok University as a scholarship student, everything changed.
Bangkok University opened its doors — letting her try things she had never tried, discover things she had never encountered, and channel every experience into continuous self-development. From a student who was once merely a participant in activities, she gradually grew into an organizer, a knowledge-sharer, and ultimately ascended to a national stage as a representative of Google.
For younger students looking for inspiration, Gyoza leaves a simple but powerful message: "Use your effort to prove yourself to others. Use both your successes and your failures as the driving force to keep going — and don't forget to pass opportunities on to those who walk behind you."
Gyoza's success did not happen overnight. It is the result of accumulating skills little by little, the courage to step outside her comfort zone, and a determination to never stop developing herself.
