Bangkok University, in partnership with Thai Airways International Public Company Limited, is giving students the chance to compete creatively through the 3D Animation Diorama contest, themed "Dream Big, Fly Far: From Zero to Heroes with Thai Airways." The contest invites students to express their imagination and storytelling through animation, while learning the real-world workflow behind a project from a leading organization in the aviation industry.

Asst. Prof.Dr.Aunya Singsangob, Vice President for Academic Affairs, gave the welcome address, and Mr. Kittipong Sarasomboon, Chief Commercial Officer, delivered the invitation to join the competition — a project that gives students the chance to apply their knowledge and skills in design, animation, storytelling, and digital content creation to develop work that fits Thai Airways' brand and destinations. Participants must create a 30-second 3D Animation Diorama complete with sound design and background music. Applicants must be currently enrolled Bangkok University students, competing in teams of 5, and must submit a concept proposal under the theme "Junior Sky Explorers at Thai Airways' Destinations," incorporating all 5 Junior Sky Explorer characters into the story or scenes of their work.

School of Digital Media and Cinematic Arts are providing guidance and creative direction. Submitted entries must be newly created specifically for this contest, never previously published or entered in any other competition, and must be produced entirely by the participants themselves without infringing on any third party's copyright, trademark, or intellectual property. Content and visuals must also be appropriate for Thai Airways' brand image and the destinations featured. Entries can be submitted until September 24, 2026, the deadline for the first round, which requires submitting the concept, visual references, and a beat board through the designated form. As a special prize from Thai Airways, winning teams will receive round-trip airfare plus a special experience, for the following routes: 5 seats to Shanghai, 5 seats to Singapore, and 5 seats to Chiang Mai.

This competition is another important platform giving Bangkok University students the opportunity to learn from a real-world business brief, applying creative skills and classroom knowledge to develop work that meets industry needs — reflecting the potential of the new generation to create digital content and animation through collaboration between academic institutions and industry.
