Creating Road Safety Momentum with the "Always Wear a Helmet When Riding a Motorcycle"

Road safety is crucial. Through communication, creativity, and participation, we aim to build consciousness about safe road usage. The School of Communication Arts at Bangkok University, in collaboration with the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth), Provincial Accident Prevention Network (APN), and Yamaha, has organized the "Always Wear a Helmet When Riding a Motorcycle" project.

The campaign invites all Bangkok University students and staff to be part of the road safety initiative. Safety helmet wearing and safe driving campaign activities will be conducted throughout a full 4-month period within the university. Bangkok University students are invited to submit video clips and photos for a contest under the concept of "Always Wear a Helmet When Riding a Motorcycle" to raise awareness about road safety.

At the project launch event, there was a presentation and introduction about the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth), a fund that supports and promotes physical health, mental health, intellectual health, and social well-being in all dimensions.

The event also included a panel discussion about project activities.

Additionally, the launch event featured helmet giveaways from Yamaha and a motorcycle parade campaign to raise awareness among Bangkok University students and staff about wearing helmets on the road.

The "Always Wear a Helmet When Riding a Motorcycle" project invites Bangkok University students to submit video clips and photos for the helmet safety campaign contest from now until November 8, 2024. Winners will be announced on November 26, 2024.
