BU Open House 2026 Lead the Next World with Bangkok University

Bangkok University invites you to experience the future at BU Open House 2026: "LEAD THE NEXT WORLD", taking place on September 4–5, 2026 (2569 BE). The event opens up space for students to think, create, and try out real technology through cutting-edge activities from various faculties, alongside a national competition stage that brings together the ideas and energy of Thai youth in one event.

This year, BU Open House 2026 isn't just about walking around to see what each faculty teaches — it invites students to step into future career roles, from Techpreneur, Hacker, Creator, and Marketer to Investor and Engineer, through hands-on activities.

The event kicks off with the excitement of Tech x Business in the Student Techpreneur BU x DEPA competition, a collaboration between the School of Entrepreneurship and Management (BUSEM), the School of Engineering, and the School of Information Technology and Innovation. Students from schools nationwide were selected down to 40 schools to go through a business-idea and technology development process — from building proposals and business models to pitch training — preparing them to go from Young Innovators to real Techpreneurs before the Final Pitching stage to find the national champion.

The School of Information Technology and Innovation also offers full AI and Cybersecurity workshops, where students take on the role of White Hat Hackers, searching for vulnerabilities, analyzing scenarios, and finding ways to protect systems through real simulated challenges — learning firsthand how "white hat hackers" think and respond to cyber threats.

The School of Engineering showcases a robotic arm turned photographer with SMA – Smurf Mechanical Arm, which precisely controls a camera to capture cinematic shots, letting students become the star of their own scene. There's also the Engineering Innovation Showcase featuring student projects and innovations, plus close-up highlights of a Humanoid & Dog Robot Show, and Drone and Anti-Drone flight demonstrations.

On the Creative & Art side, there's a major stage with Chance for Change, an art competition featuring works from 30 schools nationwide, culminating in a winner selection and an exhibition in the art gallery for visitors to view.

Moving to the Hands-On Workshop zone, students get to work with real equipment and unleash their skills with the School of Digital Media and Cinematic Arts and the School of Communication Arts, offering activities from filming and content creation to trying out both on-camera and behind-the-scenes roles — sound, lighting, visuals — as well as stepping into the role of an agency taking on a business brief and creating content for a target audience, turning ideas into skills that could become a passion and future career, along with an up-close look at works from emerging young artists.

In the service sector, the School of Humanities and Tourism Management opens its doors to showcase airline service training and a Cooking Studio for students to experience up close.

The School of Law gives students the chance to experience real courtroom situations through a mock court, learning law through real case scenarios.

In Business & Data, students get real-world missions through the Content & Channel Challenge and AI China Marketing from the School of Business Administration and the Chinese International College.

The School of Accounting invites students to explore the world of digital-age accountants through Data Analytics / Accounting Software, trying out Power BI and data mining.

The School of Economics and Investment brings students into a Stock Trading Game field, simulating investment through mobile phones with real-time economic news, letting them practice buying and selling stocks against the clock, reading market situations, managing portfolios, and building strategies like real investors.

The School of Entrepreneurship and Management hosts a talk and experience-sharing session with alumna Kannankot Deechanoncharoen, CEO & Co-Founder of the brand "Chan Ja Kin Cha Yen Took Wan" ("I'll Drink Iced Tea Every Day"), along with a close-up opportunity to connect with a business partner and learn from real experience with TikTok Shop.

The event wraps up with a closing concert featuring artists from Xoxo label, sending everyone off with fun before heading home.
