School of Fine and Applied Hosts Degree Project Fashion Show, Celebrating 20 Years of Creating Fashion Designers

 

Fashion Design Program, School of Fine and Applied Arts organized a senior thesis exhibition for 4th-year students under the theme "Ultimate Source XVIII: Dawn till Dusk." This marks the first time that a graduating student fashion show has been held within the Bangkok University campus. Significantly, this event holds special meaning as it celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Fashion Design Program's establishment. The 4th-year students presented a total of 43 collections in a creative and uniquely characterized fashion show format.

 

 

This fashion show received support from leading fashion industry partners including JASPAL GROUP, EMPORIUM, Chantasia, DIPSO, MTI, VISUAL SOLUTION, and LESASHA, who collaborated to provide materials, equipment, and knowledge transfer, allowing students to experience the authentic fashion industry.

 

 

The event attracted significant attention from the fashion community, with distinguished guests from the fashion industry and renowned influencers attending. Particularly impressive was the participation of Fashion Design Program alumni from the first generation to the current generation, creating a warm atmosphere and serving as inspiration for juniors about to enter the professional world.

 

 

This event not only demonstrates students' potential and capabilities but also confirms the program's readiness to truly connect the academic sector with the industry sector, creating quality graduates ready to enter professional fashion careers.
