Join in learning, exchanging, and creating sustainable change through the SX TALK STAGE discussion forum held on September 30, 2024, at ASEAN's largest sustainability expo. Under the theme "The Power of Becoming a World Star Through Sports Fashion," this project is a collaboration between School of Fine and Applied Arts and Event Production and MICE Management Department of the School of Communication Arts at Bangkok University. The goal is to train students in professional fashion show management. The event includes discussion activities and a sports fashion show.
SX TALK STAGE serves as a platform to showcase the sports uniform design skills of Fine and Applied Arts students for Nakhon Pathom United Football Club and Police Tero Football Club. Students learned the complete work process, from design to production management and coordination with football clubs.
Moreover, the project provided an opportunity for students in Event Production and MICE Management Department Event Production and MICE Management Department to gain hands-on experience in organizing a fashion show. Both faculties worked together to plan and execute the event professionally. The collaboration between School of Fine and Applied Arts and School of Communication Arts created an important platform for students to develop abilities and enhance skills beneficial for their future careers. The working team includes Asst. Prof.Dr.Natsupa Jaroenyingwattana, Associate Dean, School of Fine and Applied Arts School of Fine and Applied Arts, Asst. Prof.Natta Changchutoe, Associate Dean, School of Communication Arts, Instructor Thamayut Jantip, and Instructor Dalita Ketsak .
Panel Discussion on The Power of Fashion The Power of Word star
The stage discussion was honored by renowned experts from various fields, including "Leesaw" Teeratep Winothai, brand ambassador for Police Tero FC, Khun Pimchaya Sasomsub, team manager of Nakhon Pathom United, Khun Chaiyatach Chaijinda, director of Police Tero FC, Asst. Prof. Dr. Natsupa Charoenwattana, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, and a team of Bangkok University students. All participants shared experiences and opinions on the influence of sports fashion in brand building and enhancing athletes' potential to reach the world stage.
Fashion Show "Rising Star: from Kick Off to runway"
The fashion show presented sports uniform designs, with football players from Nakhon Pathom United F.C. and Police Tero F.C. serving as models. The 18 sports outfits showcased not only meet the functional requirements for football matches but are also suitable for everyday looks.
Young designers were able to present creative concepts linking club identities with modern fashion. They also focused on designs that boost athletes' confidence in competitions, making sports fashion play a crucial role in supporting the growth of athletes both domestically and internationally.
The event garnered significant interest from participants across various fields, both in sports and fashion. Attendees included Ajarn Purat Osathanugrah the President, Asst. Prof. Dr. Supachet Chansarn Assistant to the President for Academic Affairs at Bangkok University, Captain Chet Romayanan Senior Director of External Affairs Office at Thai Beverage Public Company Limited, Khun Pawinee Chaisit Managing Director of Pracharath Rak Samakkee Social Enterprise (Thailand) Co., Ltd., Mr. Surapol Utintu Managing Director of N.C.C. Management and Development Co., Ltd. (the Management of Queen Sirikit National Convention Center), Dr. Panuwat Sasomsub Chairman of Nakhon Pathom United Football Club, Dr. Chutinan Sasomsub Vice Chairman of Nakhon Pathom United Football Club, and Pol. This event not only demonstrated the power of fashion in sports but also created sustainable collaboration for the future of young football player and designers.
