BU X SC Grand Textiles for Living

The Department of Fashion Design, Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts presents works from the SC Grand X BU Textiles for Living project, aimed at cultivating skills in creating sustainable fashion textiles using recycled yarn innovation. This project showcases the work of second-year students in the FSD232 Textiles for Fashion course, taught by Ajarn Dalita Ketsak, Instructor of the School of Fine and Applied Arts, Dr. Pichathorn Nuandaisri, and Ajarn Panjaphon Atsawalapniran, a special lecturer at the School of Fine and Applied Arts.

This project continues its collaboration with SC GRAND Company Limited, a manufacturer of recycled products and environmentally friendly textiles. SC GRAND provided innovative yarns, offering students the opportunity to learn and experiment with creating Textile Wall Art using recycled yarn under the concept of Textiles for Living. The project was honored to have Mr. Theerathat Thaninbenjakul (Head Designer) from SC GRAND Company Limited participate in organizing training activities, giving lectures, and providing guidance on work development to students involved in the project. This experience aims to provide knowledge and insights for students to further develop sustainable fashion textiles.
