Bangkok University Joins Forces to Accelerate Creating a Sustainable World at GCNT EXPO 2025

Bangkok University showcased its potential by presenting concepts and work experiences related to SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, which is the core foundation of current and future teaching and learning approaches at the GCNT EXPO 2025: Forward SDGs Faster Together event.

Asst. Prof.Dr.Rittirong  Chutapruttikorn and Instructor Suksan Chunarrom from the Environmental Innovation Research Center presented the concept "Creative Pragmatic Co-Design for Humanity-Centered Development: From Margins to Mainstream." This approach introduces the Creative Pragmatic Co-Design concept, which creates opportunities for everyone to participate, think, and create equitable change for fairness and accessibility for all in society.

Over the past 8 years, this process has been applied in more than 20 real projects across human scale, building scale, and urban scale levels. Every project serves as a space for stakeholders to participate in thinking, co-designing, and hands-on implementation through tools we have developed. This ensures that design is not just the domain of designers, but belongs to everyone who has a stake in society. Because sustainability is not just about the environment, but about humanity, human dignity, and problem-solving through genuine participation, which forms the foundation of sustainable change for all parties.
